Spark Economics, in partnership with NGOs Vamos Honduras and Pathways to New Futures, opens applications for a second cohort of entrepreneurs in Talanga, Honduras who will receive specialized machinery to scale their businesses.
Context: Entrepreneurship as an engine of development
Talanga is a growing town where entrepreneurship and industry are pillars to strengthen the local economy. The development of companies dedicated to manufacturing and transformation of raw materials adds value to local products and activates regional trade. In this context, Spark Economics promotes initiatives that support entrepreneurs with concrete opportunities to scale their businesses and contribute to the sustainable development of their communities.
The pilot project, launched in late 2025, supported 4 entrepreneurs from Talanga with machinery donations. Now, in its second phase, it expects to impact 10 new businesses, thanks to a new fundraising round that will be carried out once participants are selected.
